Water quality monitoring and reporting

Our staff are proficient in a variety of water quality sampling, analysis and reporting practices. We have experience working with groundwater, streams/rivers and estuaries. Our journey level staff are skilled at conducting water quality monitoring, sampling and analysis of streams, rivers, lakes and reservoirs. We gather and analyze data parameters such as: temperature, turbidity, conductivity, pH, dissolved oxygen, bacteria, heavy metals, total dissolved solids, toxicity, flow, salinity and other parameters that can effect surface and ground water quality. Our Staff is experienced in recording habitat specific data using cutting edge equipment data logging systems for long and short term monitoring. We provide daily, quarterly, annual, and final reports for the data collected and can submit them to designated agency on the client’s behalf.

Water Temperature Study and Monitoring

Alluvion Biological Consulting provides water temperature studies collecting data in both lentic and lotic habitats. This may include the use of temperature data loggers placed in streams and various water quality meters for profiling temperature in lakes and deep pool habitats. Our staff have provided temperature studies in support of hydroelectric relicensing, hydroelectric license compliance,fisheries, species protection and water supply evaluations throughout Central and Northern California.
